What Aquatic-Auctions does
Aquatic-Auctions is a UK auction marketplace built for fishkeepers. Buyers bid on fish, corals, shrimp, snails, aquatic plants and aquarium gear from hobbyists, breeders and retailers — across sixteen categories, from freshwater and marine fish to filtration, CO2 equipment and rare collectibles.
Welfare is engineered into the platform itself. Every livestock listing shows water parameters, care level and origin — temperature, pH, tank size, difficulty and captive-bred status on every animal. Proxy bidding lets buyers set a maximum and bid only as much as needed to stay ahead, and an anti-sniping rule adds five minutes to the clock whenever a bid lands in the final five — so everyone gets a fair chance.
